A&E Construction Co. was responsible for providing site work and construction services a Giant Food Store and two new buildings located at the Shoppes at Crossroads, at the intersection of Route 611 and I-80 in Stroudsburg, PA. Site work included clearing and removal of existing paving and structures, addition of concrete curbs, sidewalks, grading, paving, installation of a new storm water system, and three retaining walls.

The two new retail buildings, 39,460 SF (1) and 9020 SF (2), are steel structures. Work included HVAC, plumbing, electrical, concrete, masonry, and rough carpentry. The smaller structure is attached to Giant Food Store that A&E Construction is building under a separate contract.

The supermarket project, totaling approximately 76,400 SF, is a single story masonry building with mezzanine levels in the front and back. The structure has a steel joist roof and steel columns. Multiple finishes include VCT, wall coverings, ceramic tile, FRP, paint and acoustical ceiling tile.
