The renovation of Immaculata’s Alumnae Hall involved the addition of a sprinkler system throughout the 88,000 square foot facility. Alumnae Hall was originally constructed in 1970 and houses the University’s main gymnasium, 1,150-seat performing arts theater, art gallery and swimming pool. An expansion and upgrade of the building’s fire alarm system was also included as part of the project. In addition to the installation of sprinkler/fire alarm systems in the building, the project involved the concurrent renovation of the Open Door reception area as well as the renovation of the facility’s cafeteria. Miscellaneous renovations, including the painting of the gymnasium ceiling, were also included in the project.
