The project included the demolition of the existing main basketball flooring and two practice courts. Modifications were made to the electrical control power conduits under the floor. Ardex K-15 underlayment was installed throughout the gym floor before applying the new hardwood flooring surface, using Robbins Bio-channel Star XL Flooring System. The new floor was contoured to blend into the existing rubberized track surface. Stonecarpet was installed at both the east-west entrances to the gym and was colorized to match Princeton University’s logo colors. A detailed graphics package was developed for the striping and the Center Court logo and all required lettering colors specific to University standards.
