A&E Construction Co. was responsible for the construction of the headquarters for Puerto Rican Unity for Progress. This Project involved site development and construction of a new 8,930 SF, two-story, steel frame facility that accommodates visitor waiting, support spaces, offices and educational rooms. The steel frame building is slab-on-grade with concrete deck at second level with a two-stop elevator and two stair towers. Interior fit-up included installation of VCT, ceramic tile and carpet floor finishes with painted gypsum board partitions, wood doors in hollow metal frames and ACT ceiling system with fluorescent light fixtures; upgraded flooring finishes, a custom millwork desk with matched wall paneling, logo sign and special lighting in the reception area.
