Located in the Wharf at Rivertown – which was historically restored by A&E Construction, the headquarters for the country’s largest provider of web-based software for managing employee performance occupies 130,000 square feet in the middle of a renovated power generating station that was originally built in 1916. The focal point of the company’s space is the 85-foot- high main Turbine Hall. Rather than fill this space with cubicles, two “light-boxes” were constructed. Inside these structures are the company’s training rooms, employee café, private offices, and the company’s main data center. On top of these structures is a carpeted deck that features four large projection screens, a stage, dance floor, lounge, and bar that accommodates up to 800 people for conferences or parties..
