A&E Construction Co. has been awarded several contracts for expansion and improvements to the Marple Crossroads Shopping Center in Springfield, Pennsylvania. The plan includes relocation and fit-out of Marshalls and Jo-Ann Fabrics; and vanilla box construction for retailers Walmart, Burlington Coat Factory, Sally Beauty and Dress Barn. The project includes demolition of existing interiors; installation of elevators, escalators, stairs and loading dock; building demising walls; and re-façade of the exterior. Site work involves storm water management; relocation of water and gas; site electrical and lighting; paving, striping and signage; retaining walls and landscaping.
