A&E Construction has been awarded a General Construction contract by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) for improvements to the Wayne Train Station in Wayne, Pennsylvania. 

Phase 1 of the project includes the construction of Amtrak’s new storage yard and a portion of the new outbound High Level Platform.  Phase 2 involves the construction of the balance of the new outbound High Level Platform as well as the new inbound High Level Platform. Finally, Phase 3 of the project involves the demolition and construction of new inbound and outbound Low Level Platforms as well as multiple Station Building improvements including roof replacement, toilet room renovations, ticket office upgrades, and pedestrian tunnel rehabilitation.  Throughout all phases, the station will be brought into compliance with all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements
