11.19.2008 -A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Elinore Rose LLC to construct the core and shell of an office building in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.  The project, which is located along West Chester Pike/US Route 3, encompasses 11,400 square feet on two floors.

The first floor of the facility, which totals approximately 8,300 square feet will house offices for the Social Security Administration. The balance of the space, which is located on the second level of the building, will be constructed for a future tenant. A&E will be responsible for the base building including entrance vestibules, vertical circulation, rest rooms, and mechanical/electrical spaces and equipment.

The architect for the project, which has a total construction cost of approximately $1,900,000, is Linn Architects of Media, Pennsylvania. Demolition of an existing facility on the site has been completed. Construction of the new facility is expected to begin in November 2008 with completion scheduled for May 2009.
