09.20.2007 - A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Rosedon Holding Company of Wayne, Pennsylvania to construct a Family Dollar retail outlet in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.
A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Rosedon Holding Company of Wayne, Pennsylvania to construct a Family Dollar retail outlet in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. The project, which is located in the Union Avenue Shopping Center, encompasses over 11,000 square feet of space in the existing strip center.
The project involves the selective demolition of the existing space, including the capping of an existing partial second-floor area, as well as the complete turnkey build-out of the first floor to create the new retail outlet. The project also includes an upgrade of the mechanical/electrical systems as well as the renovation of the exterior of the building including the construction of a new canopy.
The architect for the project, which has a total construction cost of approximately $800,000, is RHJ Associates of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Construction is expected to begin in September 2007 with completion scheduled for January 2008.
