5.2.2008 -A&E Construction has been awarded a Construction Management contract for a tenant fitout project for Lockheed Martin Corporation in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

The project encompasses the renovation of a total of 46,000 square feet in an existing warehouse building. 34,000 square feet of the project will be for office space that will include a lobby, training room, conference rooms, private offices, open office space, and related support space. The remaining 12,000 square feet will be warehouse area for a box build area and a small portable office unit. In addition, a new entry vestibule addition and a small loading dock addition will be constructed at the facility.

The architect for the project, which has a total construction cost of approximately $2,750,000, is McGillin Architecture Inc. of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. Preconstruction services have already begun. Construction will begin in May 2008 with the warehouse portion of the facility completed by August 2008 and the office component scheduled to be completed in September 2008.
