2.16.2007 - A&E Awarded $10.75M Contract for Education & Treatment Center
A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Community Education Centers, Inc. of Roseland, NJ to construct the Albert M. “Bo” Robinson Education & Treatment Center in Trenton, NJ. This three-story addition to an existing two-story facility will provide space for housing, treatment, and educational services for both adults and juvenile populations that are preparing for reentry into main stream society. These individuals will be transferred to the facility from either the NJ Department of Corrections or local county facilities.
This 58,000 square foot facility will house a large lecture room, dining room, a multipurpose/gymnasium and counseling rooms on the first floor with dormitory rooms for both men and women on the upper two floors. A full-size roof recreation area will also be constructed.
The architect for the project, which has a budget of approximately $10,750,000 is Zampolin & Associates of Westwood, NJ. Construction is slated to begin in March 2007 with substantial completion to be completed in July 2008.
