07.27.2006 - A&E to Begin Office/Retail Complex in Willingboro, New Jersey

A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Delco Development, LLC to provide construction services for Phase I of the renovation of the former Sears store in Willingboro, New Jersey. This first phase encompasses both base building and exterior renovations. Totaling approximately 91,500sf, the two-story building will be gutted down to the existing structure and will be reconstructed as primarily an office building with approximately 7,000sf of retail space. In addition, new Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing systems will be installed.

The architect for this renovation is Thomas E. Hall & Associates of Wayne, Pennsylvania and Phase I of this project is currently budgeted at approximately $3,250,000. (The total project is currently budgeted at $6,700,000.) Construction will start immediately on Phase I and is expected to be completed by December 2006.
