1.26.2009 -A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Delco Development, Inc. of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, to renovate an existing facility into a new Super 8 Hotel in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

The project is located at the intersection of Fellowship Road and Route 73 and is adjacent to a New Jersey Turnpike interchange. It involves the renovation of a building that was originally constructed as a hotel and subsequently converted into office space. This project, which encompasses the entire four-story, 49,000 square-foot facility, will create an 80-room hotel.

The project scope includes a new porte cochere/entrance canopy, new windows throughout, and a new wood truss/fiberglass shingle roof to be constructed atop the existing roof. Internally, all guest rooms will be renovated with updated fixtures and finishes. In addition, the lobby and entrance area of the hotel will be renovated to include a new registration area and breakfast bar for guests.

The architect for the project, which has a total construction budget of approximately $3,800,000, is Newcomer Associates of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Construction is slated to begin in January 2009 and be completed by September 2009.
