09.18.2006 - A&E Awarded Fourth Wawa Food Market

A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Wawa, Inc. to construct a new Food Market, with a canopied, gasoline service area at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Hellerman Street in Northeast Philadelphia. This one-story, 4,750 square-foot facility is the fourth Wawa facility that A&E has constructed and continues the 18-month relationship between A&E and Wawa.

The architect for the project, which has a construction cost of approximately $2,100,000, is Lynch/Martinez Architects of Ambler, Pennsylvania with engineering being provided by Bala Consulting Engineers. Construction will start in early October with substantial completion anticipated in April 2007.
