9.13.2007 - A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Wawa, Inc. to construct a new Food Market located in Somers Point, New Jersey.

A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by Wawa, Inc. to construct a new Food Market located in Somers Point, New Jersey. The project, which is located along New Road, encompasses 4,900 square feet and includes a new convenience store and a canopied gasoline service area.

This project represents the fifth Wawa project in which A&E has been involved and continues the 3-year relationship between A&E and Wawa. During this timeframe, A&E has both constructed new stores and renovated existing stores in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The architect for the project, which has a total construction cost of approximately $2,200,000, is Lynch/Martinez Architects of Ambler, Pennsylvania. Construction is expected to begin in September 2007 with completion scheduled for February 2008.
