06.23.2006 - A&E to Provide Preconstruction Services for Worthington Mixed-use Project
A&E Construction has been awarded a preconstruction services contract to provide select preconstruction services to O’Neill Properties Group for the Worthington mixed-use development in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Located at the intersection of US Route 202 and Route 29 in East Whiteland Township, Phase I of this lifestyle center will consist of over 600,000 square feet of retail space, 408 residential units, and over 3,000 structured parking spaces on the site of the former Worthington Steel complex.
A&E’s services include the creation of a complete Cost Model and developing a Project Master Schedule for this first phase. These preconstruction services have already begun and should be completed by the end of August 2006. The architect for the project is Antunovich Associates of Chicago, Illinois.
Site construction is anticipated to begin in the Fall 2006 with building construction beginning the First Quarter of 2007.
