2.26.2008 - A&E Construction has been awarded a contract by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia to oversee a building addition and interior renovations at the St. Francis Country House in Darby, Pennsylvania. The multi-phased project continues the relationship between A&E and the Archdiocese that has spanned the past four years.
This project includes the construction of a four-story addition and multiple interior renovations that will result in the relocation of the rehabilitation area, administrative offices, Beauty Shop, and Gift Shop; the renovation of multiple nurse stations and lounges, a bathing suite, and administrative offices; and the creation of a new conference area, additional administrative offices, and chapel offices.
The architect for the project, which has a total construction cost of approximately $3,700,000, is Spearman Associates of Glenside, Pennsylvania. O’Donnell & Naccarato of Philadelphia will be providing Project Management services. Construction is expected to begin in April 2008 with completion scheduled for October 2009.
